Ahora que escribo el título caigo en que es una vuelta de tuerca sobre The Philadelphia Story, otra divorce comedy, pero más frívola.
Los diálogos de esta película son brillantes, pronunciados a toda velocidad en ese inglés tan de los 40s, limpio de malas palabras pero no de malicia.
Por ejemplo:
That's one of the tragedies of this life - that the men who are most in need of a beating up are always enormous.
John D. Hackensacker III: You don't marry someone you just met the day before; at least I don't.
Princess Centimillia: But that's the only way, dear. If you get to know too much about them you'd never marry them.

Gerry Jeffers: You have no idea what a long-legged woman can do without doing anything.
Y así durante hora y media. La recomiendo con fervor.
